“ Hey guys! Doug Cunningham, from Absolute Shine Auto Spa here.... I am a mobile based detailer in Sag Harbor, NY. Mostly working on the East end of Long Island. I did a review of a new product that was offered to me through a private detailing forum I belong to. It was an offer to try a new product called "WashDrops". It is a car wash product that only uses a small amount of water. I usually use one five gallon bucket, but only about half actually gets used. You just put about three capfulls per gallon. Washing one panel at a time and drying immediately after. I have had great results with this product. It can be used in very cold temps as the water is only on the panel for a short time (use warm water). Hardly any water hits the ground! Using a chenille wrapped wash sponge gives enough water to flush away heavy dirt, and frequent rinsing keeps the dirt in the water. Obviously there are limits. Really dirty cars that aren't going to be polished....yeah I might want to hose off a little sand, mud etc. Wheel wells that are mud caked also over power this system. Two buckets, grit guards, flowing water are all probably more gentle to super fine paint jobs, but those are not always our subjects! “
